CHICAGO, IL — June 19, 2026 — Chicago electronic artist, producer and filmmaker Orisha Lux, also known as Jordan Thomas, releases Final Flash, a 14-track album that transforms the radiant foundation of The Lux Era into something faster, wider and more explosive.
Inspired by the iconic Dragon Ball Z attack and by the creative momentum of Orisha Lux’s previous album, Final Flash represents the next level of light in his career. The project moves fluidly across house, drum and bass, Jersey club, R&B and hip-hop while preserving the atmospheric calm and shadowy texture of trip-hop.The album’s house-driven core includes “Palmisano Park,” “Voltage,” “Eclipse,” “Neon Gravity” and
“Afterimage.” “Pulsar” accelerates into drum and bass; “Final Form” brings the kinetic bounce of Jersey club; “Flashpoint” and “Mirage” lean into R&B; and “Stellar” closes the genre map with hip-hop influence. Together, the tracks balance dance-floor force with spacious, reflective production.
Final Flash also features Chicago blues artist Brother Jacob on “Eclipse.” Known as a blues singer, curator, radio host and historian, Brother Jacob brings a deeply rooted vocal presence to the album. He is also Orisha Lux’s husband, making the collaboration both artistic and personal.
The album arrives as Orisha Lux continues expanding beyond music. His short film Claustrophobia, which he wrote and scored, won Best Dark Drama at the 2026 Austin Micro Film Festival. Directed by Leopoldo Torres, the film stars Ben Locke and features cinematography by Molly Torres. Orisha Lux has also earned airplay on Chicago’s Vocalo 91.5 FM and placed third in his group during America’s Next Top Hitmaker, a competition presented in partnership with Rolling Stone.
With Final Flash, Orisha Lux does not abandon the dreamlike spaces that have defined his catalog. Instead, he charges them with new voltage - creating an album built for motion, late-night reflection and the moment when controlled energy finally erupts.
Final Flash is available June 19, 2026 on major streaming platforms.
